Endre Fischer
Endre Fischer was raised in a musical family and drawn to violin making through the folk music and woodcarving traditions of his ethnic heritage. He served his apprenticeship in Budapest under renowned maker Laszlo Marosvari, completing his training in 2004. After subsequently earning a degree in cultural anthropology from Binghamton University in New York, and working briefly as a translator, Endre began a long-standing association with Charles Rufino in 2007. He serves as resident luthier of the Long Island Violin Shop while also crafting instruments independently.
