Rebecca Pierce
Rebecca Pierce is a luthier and bow maker based in Montreal, Canada. Her journey in the world of violin making began at the Newark School of Violin Making in the United Kingdom, from
which she graduated in 2002. After completing her formal education, Rebecca honed her craft by working in various repair workshops across England, gaining invaluable experience in instrument restoration and maintenance.
In 2011, Rebecca relocated to Montreal and joined Wilder & Davis, there she divides her time between her responsibilities in instrument repair and her private workshop, where she crafts bows and instruments. Her passion for bow making was kindled by her colleague, André Lavoye, and she has since established a reputation for her finely crafted bows.
She is a member of Collectif Lutherie Montréal, a group that fosters collaboration and excellence among Montreal-based luthiers.
